span class="large"American Sweetgum (Liquidamber styraciflua) wired and cleaned up today, which was originally donated by Audrey Lanier. Audrey was one of the original founders of the Austin Bonsai Society back in the 1960's and was an important part of the bonsai scene in Texas for decades. She said she collected this from her father's property a very long time ago. It's a beautiful example of a native variety./span
